Summary
BioSpace is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team at the Menands campus. The role involves start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of HVAC systems and equipment.
About the Role
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of coolers and freezers, operation of refrigeration chillers, maintenance of chilled water systems, participating in on-call emergency work, preventive maintenance and repair of industrial air handling systems, and conducting daily rounds on HVAC and facilities-related equipment.
About You
Required:
- AAS degree in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience for HVAC Technician II or 5+ years for HVAC Technician III.
Preferred:
- Experience in AC, Heating, Chilled Water Systems, Building Automation Controls.
- Electronic, PLC, mechanical, and building automation systems experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- EPA certification for refrigeration gases.
