Jacobs is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Career Level to join their team, with opportunities available at any location in the United States. About the Role
As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, providing on-site assistance during startup, and coordinating work activities with other staff members. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
Preferred:
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams.
- Experience with Data Center Design.
