About the Role
As an Imaging Support Specialist, you will work closely with the IRC Coordinator, hospital staff, managers, and physicians. Your responsibilities will include performing clerical duties such as data entry, maintaining records, and acting as a liaison between departments. You will also prioritize exams, assist with patient information, and ensure efficient communication within the health system.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of progressively responsible experience in a physician support setting and/or two years of experience in a Radiology Department.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to initiate creative solutions.
- Effective communication skills with medical staff and other departments.
- Knowledge of Windows-based programs.
- Ability to utilize PACS, RADNET, Powerchart, Powerscribe, Intelerad, and other computer systems upon completion of training.
Preferred:
- Additional formal clerical and computer training.
