About the Role
As an Immigration Intern, you will work closely with Immigration Legal Representatives to assist in completing immigration applications for Green Cards, Citizenship, and other necessary documentation. Your responsibilities will include making copies of petitions, uploading case files, completing case notes, working directly with clients, and conducting follow-up phone calls. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into U.S. immigration processes and policies, especially as they pertain to refugees.
About You
Required:
- Current undergraduate student or less than one year out of school.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work well with a culturally diverse staff.
Preferred:
- Fluency in Armenian, Farsi, or Spanish.
- Prior experience in immigration.
