Tech Comm is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves developing C++ firmware for next-generation DF/COMINT products, with a focus on real-time systems.

About the Role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will own the full software lifecycle for Tech Comm's next-generation DF/COMINT products, from bootloader and driver development to networked data interfaces and operator-facing tools. You will engage with engineers and business leaders during the design phase, develop and document embedded C++ code, and interface with customers. The role includes R&D, product innovation, integration, and field support, with significant interaction with the CEO and other team members.

About You

Required:

Approximately 5 years of professional experience in embedded C++.
Proficiency with board-level interfaces (e.g., SPI, I²C, ADC/DAC control, IPv4/UDP).
Familiarity with critical tools (e.g., task schedulers such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or custom).
Working knowledge of version control (Git), issue tracking, and automated build systems.

Preferred:

Experience with, or interest in, languages used in signal processing, visualization, and user interface development (e.g., C#, UIs such as Avalonia, MATLAB).
Experience with, or interest in, languages used in RF testing and tool development (e.g., Python).
