About the Role
As an Import Export Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate import/export documentation, monitoring import duties and tariffs, classifying goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. You will coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders, maintain records of customs transactions, and provide training on customs compliance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of experience in customs compliance or international logistics.
- Knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and HTS classification.
Preferred:
- Licensed Customs Broker.
- Familiarity with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and other CBP systems.
