About the Role
As an Indirect Purchaser Specialist, you will be responsible for negotiating business priorities, collaborating with local and global stakeholders, managing supplier relationships, and developing strategic purchasing initiatives. You will also build supplier market intelligence and manage supplier development processes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in global supply chain management, engineering, or related business studies.
- 10+ years of work experience in procurement or related supply chain management field.
- Experience gathering market intelligence and understanding global markets.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Contract management experience.
- Advanced negotiation experience for supplier negotiations.
Preferred:
- Experience building business cases or strategies.
- Proficient interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Project management skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team.
