Summary
EY is seeking an Indirect Tax Technology Senior Manager to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves building, selling, and delivering differentiated tax technology solutions to help clients manage their indirect tax obligations efficiently.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will enhance your skills in designing, promoting, and delivering major technology tools, including application development and data analytics. You will work closely with tax-technical subject matter professionals to develop and deploy data and technology solutions, ensuring quality tax consulting services that meet client expectations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, information science, accounting, or finance and minimum of 7 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience.
- Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to a state Bar.
- Hands-on technical experience with expertise in architecting and delivering data-driven solutions using modern analytics and AI technologies.
- Experience with developing solutions using Microsoft Azure, IBM watsonx, or Databricks stack.
- Strong communication skills in managing executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
Preferred:
- A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance databases, particularly using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Leadership experience with cross-functional project teams and mentoring less experienced personnel.
