About the Role
As an Industrial Automation Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for understanding electrical schematics, wiring power and control circuits, and performing mechanical assembly tasks. You will provide on-site service and customer support, manage installation and maintenance tasks, diagnose technical problems, and produce detailed service reports. The role requires travel up to 60% of the time.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a 2-year industrial automation program.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading, Microsoft programs, and familiarity with Allen-Bradley electrical components.
Preferred:
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
- High level of experience with machine building and mechanical assembly techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment with mobile tools/meters.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (4 years preferred).
- Experience with Allen-Bradley software (4 years preferred).
