Summary
CHAOS Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer - Radar Systems to join their team in Hawthorne, CA. The role involves serving as the Industrial Engineering authority for radar system development and production.
About the Role
As an Industrial Engineer - Radar Systems, you will architect scalable production systems, lead production rate modeling, capacity planning, cost optimization, and factory flow design. You will embed DFMA and producibility rigor into radar product development and own manufacturing system readiness for LRIP and FRP transitions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related STEM field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or complex electromechanical production.
- Demonstrated experience in production rate modeling, capacity planning, factory flow optimization, and implementing DFMA principles.
Preferred:
- Experience with radar systems, RF hardware, or complex electronic assemblies.
- Familiarity with RF troubleshooting fundamentals, PCBA integration, and thermal interface materials.
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS or equivalent CAD tools and operating in low-rate initial production (LRIP) environments.
