About the Role
As a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Volvo/Mack remanufacturing factory by providing engineering support, improving salvage methods, and enhancing manufacturing processes. Your duties will include assisting in the design and evaluation of mechanical systems, performing product development activities, troubleshooting operational issues, and conducting root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
About You
Required:
- B.S. in mechanical engineering (M.S.M.E. preferred) or equivalent engineering education.
- At least five years of directly related experience.
- Proven experience with root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proven Excel and data analysis experience.
Preferred:
- Experience reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings.
- Well-developed project management skills.
