Summary
RESRG Automotive is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team in Newbern, TN. The role involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for automotive decorative components.
About the Role
As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing productivity, improving quality, and ensuring operational efficiency. Your tasks will include analyzing production methods, leading CI projects, developing process documentation, collaborating with various teams, monitoring KPIs, designing plant layout changes, and supporting new product introductions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S).
- Data Analysis and Process Optimization experience.
- Experience working with CAD Tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.)
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO standards, and automotive quality systems.
- Green Belt or higher certification in Six Sigma.
- Automotive or decorative part production experience.
