About the Role
As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will conduct analyses on supply chains of critical weapon systems, analyze manufacturing processes, and develop actionable recommendations for process improvements. You will collaborate with suppliers and the U.S. Navy, mentor junior employees, and build relationships with stakeholders to enhance communication and workflow.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing and production at a mid- or large-scale defense contractor.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Knowledge of processes related to weapon system production.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to participate in or lead various integrated product teams (IPTs).
- Secret clearance.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience serving in or supporting the U.S. Navy.
- Experience using Python or R.
- Experience with program management of major ACAT programs.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS09100 standards.
- Master's degree.
- PMP, DAWIA PM, or LCL Level II or III Certification.
