Summary
Inspire Development Centers is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher for their Royal City location. The role involves preparing and executing daily activities and lesson plans for children, incorporating their home language and culture into the center's activities.
About the Role
As an Infant Toddler Teacher, you will provide a safe and healthy learning environment, follow state and federal regulations, formulate lesson plans, enhance children's physical and intellectual competence, communicate with parents, and participate in professional growth activities. You will also administer educational screenings and maintain confidentiality of program information.
About You
Required:
- Current Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) or comparable certificate, or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with relevant coursework.
- Extensive knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Experience working in a federally funded and regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Previous Head Start experience.
- English/Spanish bi-lingual fluency.
