About the Role
As an Infection Preventionist 4, you will be responsible for performing healthcare-associated infection surveillance, investigating potential exposures to infectious diseases, and providing expert consultation on infection prevention issues. You will also conduct epidemiological data analysis, serve as a primary contact for infection prevention in various units, and support infection prevention activities across BILH facilities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Board Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required and must be maintained.
- At least 5 years of work experience in infection prevention and control required.
- Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite applications and other web-based applications.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Infection Control, Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, or Statistics preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse preferred.
- Experience in use of electronic health record, particularly Epic including infection prevention module, preferred.
