BioSpace is seeking an Information Scientist - Human Health and Disease to join their team in Englewood, NJ. The role involves researching and synthesizing information on health and disease topics to support bench scientists.
About the Role
As an Information Scientist, you will rapidly research available resources and synthesize important information into easy-to-read reports. You will master the use of various information products to provide insights on disease indications and drugs in development. Your responsibilities will include updating reports with new information and effectively communicating summarized data to team members through presentations.
About You
Required:
A MS or PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
Experience in searching and analyzing traditional and non-traditional online resources of scientific information.
Hands-on experience with information products from companies like Informa, ABIS, InsightMeme, Quosa, and Scopus.
Experience writing clear, concise, and accurate reports and summaries in English.
Ability to quickly assimilate and integrate data from various sources into cohesive summaries.
Broad knowledge of human health, aging, and disease.
Preferred:
A can-do attitude with a friendly, easygoing personality.
Excellent English-language communications skills.
Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Benefits
Starting base pay range: $90k–$140k.
Starting additional compensation range: $8k–$17k.
