About the Role
As an Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Information Security Program. Your tasks will include defining branch-specific security requirements, serving as a point of contact for security issues, coordinating incident investigations, advising business units on security requirements, and staying updated on regulatory changes and best practices in cybersecurity.
About You
Required:
- 3 to 5 plus years experience in information and cyber security, within the banking industry.
- Profound knowledge of US and NY regulatory requirements (NYCRR500, DFS 500, FFIEC) and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001).
- Experience in risk management, incident handling, and audit support.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Recognized security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are an advantage.
