Summary
Watershed Security is seeking an Information System Security Specialist (ISSS) III to join their team in Norfolk, VA. The role involves providing RMF support to the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic, including creating and maintaining RMF packages and achieving ATOs.
About the Role
As an Information System Security Specialist (ISSS) III, you will be responsible for implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, maintaining compliance with security policies, and ensuring the operational security posture of information systems. You will work closely with various teams to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and will be required to demonstrate a working knowledge of Information Assurance tools.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or managerial related discipline or High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have 8570/8140 IAT III or IAM III certification.
- 5 years of relevant experience (Bachelors), 7 years of relevant experience (HS/GED).
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E) or Assessment & Authorization (A&A).
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and Information Assurance tools such as DISA eMASS and ACAS.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of Navy RMF (Navy RPG).
- Strong communication, problem solving, and customer engagement skills.
- Familiarity with security policies & guidance documents for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
- Experience in evaluating security solutions for classified information processing and maintaining compliance with change management and configuration control processes.
