Summary
Odyssey Systems is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the AFLCMC/HNJ Special Programs Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The role involves leading Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) documentation efforts and providing Systems Security Engineering (SSE) expertise in highly classified environments.
About the Role
As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs, assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include leading A&A documentation coordination, assisting with the design and integration of systems IA architecture, and conducting technical reviews and audits to support development and test efforts.
About You
Required:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP/SAR access.
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant IA/cyber/security engineering experience.
- Must meet DoDD 8140 IAT Level II or higher and hold CISSP.
- Demonstrated experience with RMF, IA control families, A&A documentation, and cyber architecture development.
- Experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) and highly classified environments.
Preferred:
- Experience in security systems engineering involving hardware and software operating system and application solutions.
- Experience with security features and/or vulnerabilities of various operating systems as defined by the US Air Force, NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGs), and US CYBERCOM.
- Experience with IA vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools.
- Experience implementing DoD and Federal IA Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Processes.
- Experience with network and system security administration for various operating systems.
