Summary
LaTeam Partners is seeking an Information Technology Advisor to join their team in Latin America. The role involves providing expert guidance across technology operations, data strategy, and system optimization.
About the Role
As an Information Technology Advisor, you will serve as a trusted strategic partner to leadership, overseeing all IT initiatives and ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include evaluating current systems, leading the implementation of a scalable data warehouse, supporting ERP/NetSuite functions, advising on AI strategy, and managing vendor-supported operations. You will coordinate cross-functional IT projects and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or technology strategy roles.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with strong communication and decision-support skills.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, including security reviews, onboarding/offboarding, user provisioning, and vendor-managed services.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Experience implementing or structuring data warehouses and working with analytics or BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Solid understanding of AI tools, governance, and best practices.
Preferred:
- Ability to audit, analyze, and optimize systems and processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating initiatives across teams without needing to directly execute all tasks.
- Excellent documentation and proposal-writing skills.
- Self-starter mindset, able to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain ownership of outcomes.
- Experience reviewing contracts, IT budgets, or resource allocations.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and IT best practices.
