Summary

ABEC is seeking an Information Technology Manager to join their team in Bethlehem, PA. The role involves analyzing and directing all IT-related activities within the organization, ensuring continuity of computer services through planning and technical leadership.

About the Role

As an Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the IT department, enforcing company policies, establishing professional relationships, forecasting project needs, staying updated on technology developments, and preparing long and short-range plans for application selection and systems development. You will also maintain relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers and execute other assigned tasks, with the ability to travel when required.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Ten or more years’ experience managing and troubleshooting e-mail systems.
Ten or more years’ experience personally serving at a Help Desk function.
Experience in hardware installation and break/fix repair.
Experience in PC/LAN troubleshooting, including remote desktop operation.
Ten or more years’ experience troubleshooting network, connectivity, and hardware issues.

Preferred:

SQL Server experience.
Experience with Smart Phone and phone systems.
Cabling experience (e.g., terminating CAT 5/6).
ERP / Database knowledge.
VMware or other virtualization experience.
Microsoft Azure experience.
