JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III - Windows to join their Infrastructure Platform organization in Columbus, OH. The role involves managing IT infrastructure and delivering reliable solutions through Windows operations support and engineering.
About the Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer III, you will participate in incident response, change management, and problem management. You will design and implement data-driven solutions, engage team members to identify solutions, and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations. Your responsibilities will include developing operational activities with automation, leading root cause analysis meetings, coaching team members, and driving system stability programs.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure development concepts and 5+ years applied experience in SRE/DevOps, platform engineering, or similar.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Windows Server operating systems from 2016 to 2025.
- Good understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows performance tools and debugging.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Clustering, Web, load balancing, sysinternal tools, Windows patching, and risk management.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, Python or PowerShell.
- Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, and site reliability best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the adoption of site reliability culture within a team.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
Preferred:
- Strong Windows operating system knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Python coding.
- Analytical thinking for strategic solutions.
