Summary
SAIC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure System Administrator to join their Technical Engineering and Design Department in support of the United States Air Force customer, with positions available in San Diego and Honolulu.
About the Role
As an Infrastructure System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Your tasks will include managing operating systems (Windows and Linux), applications, networks, and network equipment, ensuring compliance with government policies, performing security monitoring, and contributing to technical documentation.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience with implementation and understanding of Engineering principles in a professional environment.
- Experience maintaining, configuring, operating and troubleshooting complex electronic computer interface systems and network equipment.
- Knowledge of U.S. Government computers, networks, and security.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with DNS / DHCP / Kickstart / LDAP / Kubernetes / Red Hat 7&8 / Windows 10 / ACAS / Rancher / Grafana / Cloud Security Gateway.
- Ability to automate installation, configuration, and provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
