Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy is seeking an Infusion Technician - IV to join their team in Plymouth, MI. The role involves assisting the IV Manager with the operational needs of the Infusion department and making a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
About the Role
As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for filling IV orders, maintaining IV mixing records, programming infusion pumps, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. You will also assist with the ordering of supplies and contribute to the continuous improvement of client services.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience with emphasis on compounding/aseptic technique.
Preferred:
- Strong computer skills.
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
- Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations.
