American Fuji Seal is seeking an Ink and Coating Development Engineer to lead the North Carolina facility in the development, design, and improvement of ink/coating products.
About the Role
As an Ink and Coating Development Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing flexographic print products that meet corporate and customer standards. You will manage the ink development process from conceptualization to production, act as a subject matter expert, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processing of flexographic inks. Your role will also involve applying engineering principles to establish new methods and controls, supporting root cause analysis, and overseeing production trials.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in printing technology with 3-5 years of experience in printing ink development.
- Strong knowledge of printing inks and coatings, including Flexo, Gravure, Offset, and Digital printing processes.
Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge of the Flexographic printing process.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel.
