Summary
BCLP is seeking an Innovation Lawyer - Finance to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on developing and driving AI strategy for transactional lawyers, particularly in finance work.
About the Role
As an Innovation Lawyer - Finance, you will work within the Technology Department and the Corporate & Finance Transactions Department to identify high-value AI use cases, support AI platform pilots, and standardize AI solutions across Finance Teams. You will also assist in training programs, deliver technology presentations, and collaborate with various teams to promote AI-enabled workflows.
About You
Required:
- A finance lawyer with at least 5 years’ experience in a large US national or international law firm.
- Detailed understanding of key workflows in legal finance work and a process-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a legal technology role.
- A keen interest in AI and a proven track record of using technology to support legal practice.
- Understanding of product development, UI/UX concepts, user testing, and/or process mapping.
