- High School Diploma
- Current IL licensure as a Pharmacy Tech
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required for technicians licensed after December 31st, 2007.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- 1-2 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in a customer service pharmacy environment or related field
- Student enrolled in a college of Pharmacy
