Summary
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Inspector 1 for the 3rd Shift (Onsite) position located in Middletown, PA. The role involves visually inspecting products, segregating nonconforming materials, and performing required job audits.
About the Role
As an Inspector 1, you will be responsible for visually inspecting products, segregating nonconforming materials, and performing Solumina required job audits for Op Cert surveillance. You may need to work occasional weekends to support the production schedule and will perform OpCert over-inspections as required. A detailed inspection certification is required at the conclusion of training. You will adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment, and must have a basic understanding of print tolerances, including the ability to interpret some GD&T, and proficiency in using precision measuring equipment.
About You
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred:
- 1 year manufacturing inspection experience
