Summary
Summit Fire & Security is seeking an Inspector to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision.
About the Role
As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring fire protection systems comply with NFPA codes, recording deficiencies, communicating with customers, and using inspection tools effectively. You will also need to plan and complete inspections on schedule, be on-call for emergencies, and maintain safety documentation and tools.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience inspecting fire protection systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- NICET and/or state required certification based on location.
- 5+ years of experience inspecting fire protection systems.
- Experience with SalesForce and Microsoft Office.
