AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician III to join their team in Maryland Heights, MO. The role involves performing installation tasks for contracted projects, leading installation crews, and ensuring project success in terms of time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As an Installation Technician III, you will be responsible for installation tasks including cable pulls, terminations, system equipment setup, and rack fabrication. You will lead and direct installation crews on complex projects, communicate progress to the Project Manager, and ensure adherence to project requirements. Daily responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, interpreting schematics, using tools for AV system tasks, testing cabling and systems, and acting as a customer liaison on-site.
About You
Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
- Advanced understanding of audio-visual systems and low-voltage cabling.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with audiovisual equipment.
- Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification.
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years in audiovisual, electronics or related industry installation experience.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics or related field.
- CDL preferred.
- Industry specific and manufacturer training/certifications.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.
- Confirmed Project Site Lead Role experience.
