About the Role
As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will assess student abilities and provide instructional support through one-on-one or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher. You will commit to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially, and implement a results-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth in student performance. Additionally, you will attend professional development meetings with teachers and parents as required.
About You
Required:
- Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a school or with school age children.
- Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.
