Redwood Family Care Network is seeking an Instructor Caregiver for their Day Program in West Covina, CA. The role involves supporting adults with developmental disabilities in building skills, independence, and meaningful daily routines.
About the Role
As an Instructor Caregiver, you will be responsible for developing daily activity routines based on each client’s Individual Program Plan (IPP), assisting with personal care, preparing meals, supporting clients in various activities, providing transportation, and participating in client assessments and evaluations. You will also communicate with supervisors about client progress and attend staff meetings and trainings.
About You
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.).
- First Aid / CPR Certification.
Preferred:
- 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- DSP Year 1 & Year 2 Certificates.
- CPI certification.
