About the Role
As an Instructor Pilot, you will teach, coach, and mentor student pilots through intensive training designed to prepare them for their future roles as military aviators. You will provide both classroom academic instruction and hands-on flight training, ensuring safety remains paramount in every aspect of the training environment.
About You
Required:
- ICAO equivalent or FAA commercial pilot certificate and an ICAO equivalent or FAA flight instructor certificate with rotorcraft category, helicopter class and instrument helicopter ratings.
- Total Flight Time - 1500 hours.
- 100 hours of hooded instrument, flight simulator instrument, or weather pilot time.
- Instructed students in instrument flight training.
- 75 hours of night flying.
- 500 hours of instructor time.
- Certified Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualified with 200 hours of NVG time.
- Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Military aviation experience or UH-72 qualification.
- Experience in a structured training environment.
