Jacobs is seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to join their team, with opportunities available at any location in the United States. The role involves designing and optimizing control systems for various processes in industrial and commercial facilities.
About the Role
As an Intermediate I&C Engineer, you will be responsible for developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver world-class solutions, provide on-site assistance during startup, and coordinate work activities with other staff members.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Controls.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience working with Data Centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
