About the Role
As an Insurance Market Conduct Examiner 1, you will participate in market conduct examinations, reviewing insurance companies' files and electronic records to determine compliance with Pennsylvania statutes. You will identify violations, evaluate claims processing procedures, and develop recommendations for corrective actions. The position may require attending and testifying at administrative hearings to support findings.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of the Insurance Market Conduct Examiner Trainee training program or equivalent experience.
- One year of professional experience in insurance market conduct examinations or related fields, along with a bachelor's degree.
Preferred:
- Experience in insurance investigations or financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania insurance statutes and regulations.
Benefits
- Full-time employment with a standard work schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Opportunity for part-time telework up to three days a week.
