About the Role
As an Insurance Sales Associate, you will utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales, assist in processing new business, identify cross-selling opportunities, contribute to marketing plans, and maintain high retention levels through follow-ups. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure quality customer service and act as the initial contact for customer concerns.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle common objections and educate customers in a consultative manner
- Demonstrated self-starter, motivated to learn and grow in a professional sales organization
- Professional business acumen, strong presence and confidence
- Resourceful team player that can contribute and accept new ideas
- A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of relevant sales experience
