About the Role
As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for filing insurance claims, managing impounded vehicle accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your daily tasks will include coordinating with insurance carriers, negotiating fees, and supporting loss mitigation strategies. You will play a critical role in reducing uninsured collateral risk and managing vendor relationships.
About You
Required:
- Experience working in a collections, call center, or banking environment.
- Strong understanding of secured lending and collateral risk.
- Knowledge of vehicle titling and lien perfection requirements.
- Familiarity with force-placed insurance processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
Preferred:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years experience in collections, loss mitigation, collateral recovery, and insurance tracking.
- Working knowledge of repossession and impound regulations (Texas-specific preferred).
