Suvida Healthcare is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist (Medical Receptionist) to join their team in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all visitors are welcomed and properly attended to while verifying insurance benefits.
About the Role
As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, family members, and visitors at the clinic. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, managing phone lines, verifying insurance benefits, collecting co-pays, assisting with patient referrals, and updating patient information in the EMR system. You will also participate in clinic meetings and ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.
About You
Required:
1+ years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry.
2+ years of customer service experience.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
CPR/BLS Certified (or willing to obtain within 7 days of employment).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Preferred:
Experience managing referrals and authorizations.
Experience in Value-based care operations.
Experience documenting electronic medical records.
Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Hospitality.
