About the Role
As an I-BEST Adjunct, you will collaborate with professional-technical instructors to teach college readiness skills in various subjects. Responsibilities include administering assessments, developing curricula, managing records, consulting with students, and providing quality teaching. The position may require evening instruction and attendance at quarterly meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in adult/developmental education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field.
- Two years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience teaching adults.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in adult/developmental education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics.
- Two years of FTE teaching experience in a community college setting.
- Experience with Basic Skills requirements of the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
