Summary

About the Role
As an Integration Engineer, you will review designs for performance and manufacturability, determine project schedules, communicate with stakeholders, organize work components, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will also evaluate how systems fit into the overall operation and drive development on critical project items.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in an engineering discipline or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in design using CAD software, FEA software, PCB design software, and/or software development.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
- Hands-on hardware experience in fabrication, assembly, and/or testing.
- Acute attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in machine design.
- 5+ years of experience in design using CAD software, FEA software, PCB design software, and/or software development.
- Knowledge in mechatronics, mechanism design, fluid power system concepts, dynamics, material selection, testing methods, and machining processes.
- Experience in creating and driving product development schedules.
- Experience in leadership on technical teams.

To solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic, roads must go 3D, which means either flying cars or tunnels. Unlike flying cars, tunnels are weatherproof, out of sight and won't fall on your head. A large network of tunnels many levels deep would fix congestion in any city, no matter how large it grew (just keep adding levels). The key to making this work is increasing tunneling speed and dropping costs by a factor of 10 or more – this is the goal of The Boring Company. Fast to dig, low cost tunnels would also make Hyperloop adoption viable and enable rapid transit across densely populated regions, enabling travel from New York to Washington DC in less than 30 minutes.
