Vast is seeking an Integration Technician II, E-2 to join their team in Hawthorne, CA. The role involves assembling, installing, and testing liquid rocket engine hardware as part of the development of next-generation space stations.
About the Role
As an Integration Technician II, you will be responsible for hands-on integration of high-precision assemblies, executing aerospace integration practices, and conducting engine and subsystem test operations. You will also document build and test activities, support rapid iteration testing, and collaborate with other teams to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 4+ years of experience in production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on hardware integration and high-pressure testing experience.
Preferred:
- Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environments.
- Experience in the assembly and testing of propulsion systems.
- Tube fitting and bending experience with common industry fitting systems.
- Experience with gaseous oxygen (GOx), liquid propellant, and cryogenic handling and systems maintenance.
