About the Role
As an Intensive (ASD) Educational Support Professional, you will be responsible for supporting students with special education needs in various school environments. Your daily tasks will include implementing IEPs, providing instructional support, managing behavior, collecting data, and communicating progress to teachers. You may also supervise students during lunch and recess, provide personal care, and assist with de-escalation techniques as needed.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 60 college semester credits and/or a two-year degree from an accredited college or university.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with elementary age students.
Preferred:
- Computer skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work as a cooperative team member.
- Positive rapport with children and ability to manage behavior fairly.
