About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the government's Quality Assurance (QA) program, conducting QA/QC coordination meetings, and assessing contractor performance. You will perform contract administration, assist in preparing Project Management Plans (PMPs), and review contractor submittals for compliance. Additionally, you will apply your knowledge of construction practices to assess work quality, investigate on-site problems, and maintain safety oversight during construction operations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field accredited by ABET.
- One year of specialized experience in construction management or quality assurance.
Preferred:
- Professional registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Experience in managing construction projects and resolving technical challenges.
