About the Role
As a Purchasing Intern, you will assist with expediting and tracking orders, maintaining accurate purchasing data within the ERP system, creating purchase requisitions, and converting them into purchase orders. You will also participate in developing requests for quotes, contribute to basic inventory management activities, and assist with price justification tasks. Additionally, you will work closely with planning and operations to support product lines and strengthen supplier relationships.
About You
Required:
- Three to four years of study toward a degree in Business Operations, Procurement, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong background in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
- Experience in leading small projects.
- Basic understanding of common manufacturing processes.
