About the Role
As a Design Assurance Engineer Intern, you will ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory standards, direct the development of prototypes, participate in quality system maintenance, and lead risk management activities. You will also engage in design verification testing and evaluate product compliance with lifecycle and environmental standards.
About You
Required:
- Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Software Engineering for the entire duration of the internship.
Preferred:
- Sophomore or Junior level status.
- GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical device and similar safety standards (i.e. IEC 60601-1, IEC 61010-1).
- Understanding of regulatory requirements.
