About the Role
As a Flammability Certification Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipment of samples to various test facilities, analyzing heat-release and flammability performance, and understanding the underlying physics. You will gain hands-on exposure to FAA certification processes and practical experience with data automation and certification workflows.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university.
- Ability to commute and work on-site 5 days a week.
Preferred:
- Junior/senior undergraduates or graduate students in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Relevant coursework in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, combustion, experimental methods, and data analysis.
- Skills in Python or MATLAB, Jama, and basic coding for report automation.
