BioMarin is seeking an Intern, Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSD) Marketing to join their team in San Rafael, CA. The role involves supporting marketing efforts for two rare disease brands, MPS and CLN2, through hands-on experience in email marketing and brand execution.
About the Role
As a marketing intern, you will assist in planning and executing email marketing campaigns, developing institutional readiness starter kits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication strategies. You will also track project timelines and revisions, and present key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
About You
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple assets and timelines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college.
Preferred:
Prior exposure to brand marketing, agency work, or content development.
Familiarity with regulated or complex categories (e.g., healthcare, biotech, specialty products).
Interest in how marketing strategy translates into tangible in-market materials.
