About the Role
As an Intern Machinist, you will assist machinists and engineers with the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC and manual machines. Your responsibilities will include performing basic machining tasks, assisting in the assembly of mechanical and electrical parts, reading technical drawings, supporting inventory management, documenting work performed, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a Technical School (Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Basic understanding of machining processes and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
