About the Role
As an Intern-RF Test and Circuit Design Engineer, you will report to the Senior RF Engineer and gain hands-on experience with RF hardware and laboratory instrumentation. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design and analysis of RF circuits, performing RF measurements, developing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This internship provides practical skills applicable to a career in RF, wireless, or hardware engineering.
About You
Required:
- In-progress Bachelor’s degree or in-progress Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Coursework in RF/microwave engineering, analog circuits, or electromagnetics.
- Basic understanding of RF concepts such as S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, noise, and linearity.
- Familiarity with laboratory measurement techniques and instrumentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
Preferred:
- Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, CST).
- Exposure to PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, KiCad).
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and automation.
- Prior internship, lab, or project experience involving RF or high-frequency circuits.
