ICF is seeking an International Labor Analyst- Mandarin Chinese to support work with the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor and Human Trafficking (OCFT) in Rockville, MD.
About the Role
The International Labor Analyst will conduct research and analysis on international child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking issues. Responsibilities include performing desk research, formulating engagement strategies with stakeholders, coordinating with various organizations, developing monitoring and evaluation plans, and writing clear communications in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, public policy, economics, international development, political science, communications, planning, statistics, technology and policy, or related discipline.
2+ years of experience working on research related to forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking).
Ability to obtain low-level security clearance.
Preferred:
Experience writing policy reports for the U.S. Government agencies.
